From my perspective as a Colonic Therapist, I have found that there are medications that can inhibit bowel function:

anti-depressants

morphine

antacids

antihistamines

iron supplements

calcium channel blockers

epilepsy medications

codeine

antipsychotics

This list is just naming a few. You may want to take a closer look at the medications that you are taking just to see if they might be the issue to your lack of motility in your gut.
